Generous differentials offered! We are currently seeking a skilled phlebotomist who is passionate about providing superior customer service while contributing to the areas of phlebotomy specimen processing.
The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate or equivalent with certification preferred.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent Certification preferred and 1 year experience required Every other weekend rotation required Major
Responsibilities:
-Drawing blood samples from patients of all ages and types using venipuncture or capillary technique.
-Understanding and interpreting a Meditech lab requisition, -Verifying any questionable orders, and correcting any errors in orders.
-Meditech specimen receipt function and ordering tests via the lab modules.
-Provide customer service support to nursing units and physician offices on all lab-related needs.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, works well with the patient population, is knowledgeable, and capable of working autonomously.
